Rosettes Galore

Here's a rosette tutorial from Just Another Hang Up. These are made with a thick almost canvas material, but I've seen them made everywhere, with just about everything, for every type of accessory.  Just today at school I saw a little girl with them on barrettes in her hair...super cute!

Button Egg & Faux Chocolate Bunnies

I found these adorable Easter decorations from Auntie Lolo Crafts.  I'm always about finding something to make with stuff I already have, and you truly do not need to purchase much for these!

Blog Hopping...again...

I spy bags and love blocks courtesy of Oopsey Daisy

and...Mr. Potato felt Head...great for quiet time.

I guess I need to add this blog to my list.  I honestly can't believe how creative this woman is!  She also doesn't work...something that I will be doing a lot of come next week.

Then I found these adorable boo-boo packs at Just Another Hang Up.

So for now, these goodies will need to go in the queue.

Mom...remember my shelf...

The shelf I have been working on over the past 2 days was a "Christmas" present for my daughter two years ago...or was it three?...regardless, I've finally finished it.  I'm actually glad that I didn't give it to her as a gift because she picked out the colors and some of the embellishments.  Everything I already had on hand so it was one of those "free" projects.  I did have to dust off the shelf a little and give it another coat or two of paint, but better late than never!

The Girl Creative: Easter Ruffle Quilt

Here's a cute and easy quilt...for later.  Originally from Me Sew Crazy, I found it this morning on The Girl Creative's site.  Love it and will put it in the queue, as my mother always says!  Here are the directions.

Glass Block Etching

For today's post, I will be etching a couple of small glass blocks that I picked up at HL for $5 a piece.  (They always are having a 50% off of something!)  A few years ago, students gave glass blocks filled with a string of lights and a bow on top for a Christmas gift.  Clever and different, but I never had the desire to buy blocks and drill my own hole for each.
